As you may or may not know the North East of Scotland Manufacturing Forum is holding the annual conference again this year! The conference "Concepts of the Future for Manufacturing" will be held on the  (new date to be communicated) at Robert Gordon University.

The two-day event will cover topics on Manufacturing, Energy, Construction,  Medical,  Transport,  Automation, Advanced Materials, Food & Drink, Digital Manufacturing & IoT,  and  Manufacturing Skills.

THIS REGION IS HOME TO MANY MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES EMPLOYING OVER 115,000 PEOPLE

THE FORUM BRINGS TOGETHER ORGANISATIONS OF ALL SIZES IN THE DIVERSE ENERGY TRANSITION TOWARDS BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE NET-ZERO ECONOMY

We are looking for experts in the manufacturing field to have a conversation about the future of the region, this will help us:

- Identify the product and service capabilities in the region

- Highlight areas of difficulty within value chains

- Determine regional opinion on funding opportunities

- Identify future opportunities for the sector

 The support is needed to identify and develop stable financing mechanisms. Developing resilience to withstand turbulent oil markets and implementing SAFe strategy (Survival, adaptability and feasibility) models specific to the North East and target sectors. Analysing potential markets and competitors beyond Scotland and identifying where the best opportunities will arrive and making the most of them for the industry. Developing a roadmap for sector growth and associated mechanisms.
